It’s GLOW LUNCH today at CTI! The students earned forty tallies for following the new regulations in the lunchroom and earned this glow lunch. Way to go third through sixth grade!!!
(They absolutely loved it by the way!)#thrivein375

Here comes the book bus! First graders had the opportunity to pick out their new book from the library today. They followed all the rules and enjoyed talking about the books they selected. Michael wanted to know if they call Lemon Sharks that name because they like lemons?Good theory! He’d going to read to find out more.

Happy Halloween from Circle Towanda Elementary and the Sanderson Sisters!

WHAT AMAZING SUPPORT WE HAVE! Thank you so much to the anonymous donor of TEN cases of bottled water for the Primary students! What an amazing surprise to walk into the office and find the cases of water! I was blown away and the teachers felt blessed by the donation! So, thank you to our mystery guardian who is taking such good care of us! #thrivein375

Teachers were busy after school on Monday preparing our CTP library for the Halloween Parade. They have transformed it into... the haunted library! The children will love it!
We will work on the CTI library tonight. What amazing teachers and staff!

Oh my! I forgot to post yesterday! So sorry!!! I want to make up for it by posting today what I should have posted yesterday. HUGE shoutout of thanks to Mr. Larry Unruh for taking the time to show his love for our staff by scraping our windows yesterday! He always goes a bit beyond what is expected by doing the little things (which we know are really quite big) to help others out. Not only was the walk clear and safe but the cars were safe for our teachers to drive! Thank you Mr. Larry!!! We LOVE you!!!

First grade has been learning about Egypt and finding many amazing facts. The teachers incorporated math by making pyramids. Great plan first grade.

A great way to enjoy a mask break when it’s cold outside. A few first graders had the opportunity to take a test and fifth grade was working in a descriptive writing project.

Ambassador Training 2020 Style!

Teachers took advantage of the masks to create some cute art projects. Students did a “masked” drawing with folded paper. Once you unfold the picture, you see who’s really underneath that mask. We have some pretty amazing students here at CTE! Enjoy a couple works of art from our third graders.

Good morning!!! It’s going to be a GREAT day... at least it appears it will be by the dancing children. Preschoolers and kindergarteners start the day with a song and a dance. I hope you have a great day!

It’s Picture Day today! I see the children brought their smiles!!!

The routines are set and the students are doing great! I enjoy coming in and finding out about what their day will look like too. It’s calming for the students too. Knowing what is to come in their day helps them feel secure as well. Here are some pictures of kindergarten and first grade reviewing their schedule for the day.

Teachers got their travel carts this week! GO T-BIRDS! Homecoming 2020 #thrivein375

Second graders LOVE math centers! It’s always fun to see what they are doing in their center day!

Payson & Huxley made sure Mr. LaMunyon had a belt buckle to wear for Homecoming Week's Western Day today!

Have you noticed that the children are bringing library books home now? Mrs. Smith helped create a book bus for our primary students to have the opportunity to check out a book. The students just love it! I love that Mrs. Milam gets to drive that bus!

One of the wonderful things about being back in school is hearing the voices, laughter, songs and seeing the wonderful artwork again.
Here are a few works of art by our first graders. They listened to the story “Wemberly Worried” in class and created their own version.

It’s been an exciting day in fifth grade! Memories are being made with their ELA Glow day.
Students had the opportunity to practice finding the subject and the type of sentences bingo. What a fun memory!

Breakfast is going great with the children getting their own trays for the first time today. These students amaze me!
If you look closely, you’ll see the dots on the ground that help keep them separated their three for social distancing.
