Sixth Graders had the opportunity to Skype with SANCCOB, a penguin and bird hospital in Cape Town, South Africa today. They got to meet "Steve" a penguin they take care of and see some of the birds currently under their care. The students raised money to "adopt" one and pay for it's medicine and care. One of the penguins in the caged area is our Flippers and will soon be released back into the wild.#thrivein375
