Career Fair was a success at CTI! Students in 5th and 6th grade had the opportunity to learn about many different career paths from our local parents. It was exciting to hear about the different job opportunities for our students. I was personally impressed to see two former students return to share about their medical profession. #thrivein375

It's Dr. Seuss day at both school's today! Children at the Primary had centers this morning. The children at the Intermediate will enjoy centers this afternoon.

First grade MTSS. Students worked to find the many sounds from the "buddy bus". The children were working to read words with a vowel digraph. Some even challenged each other to spell the word before placing it in the proper position under the envelope. #thrivein375

The students at CTI have just completed another week of testing. Our student council and student ambassadors wanted to fund some way to encourage the students to do their best. The each wrote a note of encouragement on a post it and then had the opportunity to post the notes around the building. We have the most amazing children in our schools! #thrivein375

Our custodians, in both buildings, are walking the hallways spraying doorknobs, sink handles and anywhere people are touching every hour in order to try to combat the many viruses going around. #thrivein375

Students in fifth grade took full advantage of the beautiful weather by using the playground as a reading location! #thrivein375

Just a reminder, NO SCHOOL for students on Monday, March 2nd - Staff Development. Enjoy the beautiful 3 day weekend! #thrivein375

Second graders shared their "research brochures" about famous people from the past. It's amazing to see such great work being done by children who are 7 and 8 years old. #thrivein375

CTP kindergarteners enjoyed moving to some great word songs. They sing, spell and move to the beat. What a fun way to practice sight words! They also used their reading books to find their sight words and highlight. Very impressive! #thrivein375

Parent/Teacher conference notes will be coming home with students today! Please return by Wednesday, March 4th #thrivein375
