A field trip has been scheduled for the fifth grade to travel to the Kansas Health Museum in Halstead. Students will participate in a discussion about puberty. After a physiology and anatomy lesson of the reproductive system, students will be involved in a gender specific discussion about the body changes of adolescence. This class is divided boys/girls. The students will see a film and have an opportunity to view exhibits. This trip will last the majority of the school day.
Permission slips have been sent home and are due back to the school by Friday, September 13, 2019.
The scheduled date for this trip is Wednesday, September 18, 2019.
