USD 375 at KASB Conference

Circle Public Schools recently participated in the annual Kansas Association of School Boards conference District Showcase, Meeting All Kids’ Needs tour, and led a conference breakout session titled “Building Your District Identity: Marketing, Branding & Communication”.

On Friday, November 10th, Circle High School College & Career Ready Counselor, Breahna Crawford, and Circle High School student interns, Logan Myers, Chloe Foster, and Josiah Moler, teamed up with Citizens Bank of Kansas’ Stacy Gear at the District Showcase. They highlighted the College & Career Ready Internship program and showcased the innovative partnership between CHS and Citizens Bank of Kansas.

That same day, Superintendent Don Potter, Board of Education Vice President Jordan Buxton, CHS Principal Matthew Carroll, and Director of Community Relations and Development Sara Potter hosted a group of Kansas school board members and educators at Circle High School for the Meeting All Kids’ Needs tour, highlighting innovative programs at CHS, such as the on-campus branch of Citizens Bank of Kansas with CHS teacher, Mr. Shawn Lehecka.

The tour culminated with a panel of CHS students, including Chloe Foster, Alyssa Dodd, and Blake Moore.

Logan, Chloe, Josiah, Alyssa, and Blake did a fantastic job sharing their experiences and showcasing the myriad of opportunities available at Circle High School.

On Saturday, November 11th, Mr. Potter, Mrs. Buxton, and Mrs. Potter presented to KASB conference attendees, highlighting Circle Public Schools’ journey into establishing a district identity through marketing, branding, and communication.
