We are pleased to announce the recent hire of Sarah Coons, who will join the district as the new principal of Oil Hill Elementary School for the 2023-24 school year.
Ms. Coons comes to USD 375 from El Dorado Public Schools wIth 20 years of experience in education as a special education teacher, an education specialist, special education coach, and most recently, as assistant principal at El Dorado Middle School.
A resident of El Dorado, Ks, Coons’ family includes her husband, Bryan, two sons, Quentin and Barrett, and their dog, Baxter. The Coons family enjoys spending time with family and friends, watching their boys participate in a variety of sports and activities, and supporting the Butler Community College Grizzlies as a host family.
Ms. Coons places high value in promoting systems for professional collaboration, communication, and supporting a school culture that is focused on high expectations for teaching and learning.
