ANNNDDDD- Welcome back to IN-PERSON! Starting the semester off in remote learning was.... well lets just hope that it does not have to happen again at this time next year! We all made it through, the students and teachers did a great job and made it work.
This Wednesday is slated to be our Academic Awards- We are going to release a slide show with this information on it as we can not have the in-person gathering at this time. Once the students GPA's (grade point averages) are calculated, we will create the slide show and push it out via our website, Facebook and a link via email.
This 9 weeks 7th grade will be working in Rachel's Challenge with the topic of Integrity and 8th grade will work with Initiative. Students are given the packets and they are in their notebooks. Please feel free to ask to see what the discussion points are and what they are learning during this time.
Its strange to be thinking about our next set of conferences as they are in March, but we are going to start preparing for them soon. The spring conferences are student led, and we are planning on staying with this structure. At this time platform for the conferences will still be virtual, but the student will be taking the lead during the discussion. Students will start prepping for these conferences on January 25th through advisement period.

*Tuesday, Jan. 12th- League Spelling Bee @ CMS, Boys BB and Cheer practice as scheduled.
*Wednesday, Jan 13th- STAR testing during T-Bird time, Scholars bowl, Boys BB & Cheer practice as scheduled.
*Thursday, Jan 14th- Scholars Bowl at Circle, Boys BB and Cheer practice as scheduled
*Friday, Jan 15th- Scholars Bowl, Boys BB and Cheer practice as scheduled.
*Monday, Jan 18th- Scholars Bowl, Boys BB and Cheer practice as scheduled.
Thank you to all of the parents that donated to help feed the teachers prior to Christmas break. We were treated to boxed lunches from Firehouse Subs and they were a blessing. We appreciate your support so very much. Thank YOU!
