The White Eagle Credit Union Board of Directors is pleased to offer a $500.00 scholarship to one high school senior at each school in Butler County as well as one high school senior at Newton High School. Students do not need to be a member of White Eagle Credit Union to apply for this scholarship. In addition, WECU will also award the Richard G. Blue Memorial Scholarship ($500) scholarship to a Butler County High School or Newton High School graduating senior who is a member (or has a parent or grandparent who is a member) of White Eagle Credit Union. The selection of this recipient will be made from a random drawing of qualified applicants from all schools.
Students will need to turn in the following to your office no later than Friday, March 31st.
- Scholarship Application (including Academic Verification completed by you)
- List of extracurricular (school/community/volunteer) activities including any leadership positions held
- Personal essay explaining career goals and how they would like to use their college education
- High School Transcript
