We are pleased to announce the recent hire of Dawn Dodd, who will join the district as the new principal of Towanda Primary & Intermediate Schools for the 2021-22 school year.
Ms. Dodd comes to USD 375 from Wichita Public Schools wIth 15 years of experience in education including Kindergarten, Second Grade, and K-5 Interventions and Cooperating Teaching. She also worked as an Instructional Coach, and most recently, as Assistant Principal.
Ms. Dodd received her Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Wichita State University; a Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Kansas State University; and an endorsement in Building Leadership from Fort Hays State University.
A new resident of Towanda, Ks, Dodd’s family includes her husband, Josh, and two children, Alyssa and Jake.
Ms. Dodd is passionate about advocating for kids and is very excited to meet the students, families, and staff of Towanda Elementary and Intermediate Schools.
