Graduating at Semester
Students are required to enroll in 8.5 units of credit each school year. If a senior completes all graduation requirements by the end of first semester, the student is not required to attend classes at Circle High School during the second semester. This option is referred to as graduating at semester.
Seniors must meet with their school counselor to determine eligibility for graduating at semester. Diplomas are issued at the May graduation ceremony.
KSHSAA Eligibility
To remain eligible to participate in Kansas State High School Activities Association (KSHSAA)–sponsored events and school activities, seniors must be enrolled in at least five classes during the second semester.
These classes may include a combination of Circle High School and college courses. At least one course must be taken at Circle High School to maintain eligibility. Seminar does not count toward this requirement.
