Bus Route Transportation Eligibility
In general, students who live two or more miles from their base school are eligible for bus transportation to and from school.
To receive your route assignment:
- Fully complete the Transportation Form during PowerSchool enrollment.
- Your assigned driver will contact you directly by phone.
- If you have not heard from the Transportation Department one week before school starts, please call 316-541-2631 for assistance.
If you live closer than two miles or have special circumstances, contact the Transportation Department to see if you may still qualify for route service.

Other drivers play a role in bus rider safety!
It is unlawful to pass a school bus when the red lights are flashing and the STOP sign is displayed.
Cars approaching a school bus from either direction should slow down and be observant of these signs, being prepared to stop. The safety of the student who rides the bus is dependent on every driver obeying this law.
