District Group ParentSquare Communication

ParentSquare is a great way to connect with families and keep them informed about school activities. To make sure communication stays clear and consistent, we've put together a few simple guidelines. These help ensure groups are used for their intended purpose, while school and district information continues to come directly from staff.
Top To Know
- Make it accessible. All content should be accessible and translatable. This means: content should be typed in ParentSquare, not only appear in an image or pdf.
- Keep it group-focused. Use your group for group news, events, and updates only—school and district communications will always come directly from staff.
- Invite families to join. Membership is opt-in, so use flyers, QR codes, and event reminders to encourage participation.
- Respect notification settings. Do not override post notification settings. Daily digest are sent daily at 6pm, please plan your posting accordingly.
- Comments are automatically disabled. If you would like conversation between your group members, go to your post, the settings icon, comments & enable comments.
