CHS Student, Sophia Lack Wins Kansas School Bus Safety Contest
Circle High School Student, Sophia Lack, recently earned first place in Division 5 of the Kansas School Bus Safety Poster Contest, sponsored by the Kansas State Pupil Transportation Association and the Kansas State Department of Education. Her award-winning poster was created in Mrs. Wendy Tien’s class and was also recognized during the student exhibit at Coutts Museum of Art.
As the Division 5 state winner, Sophia has been invited to attend the Kansas School Transportation Safety Conference luncheon on June 5 in Wichita, where she will be recognized with a plaque and $50 prize. Her poster will now advance to the national competition, where it will be evaluated alongside top student entries from across the country later this summer.
Congratulations to Sophia and Mrs. Tien!
