Residential Carpentry I

Prerequisites: Passing grade in Furniture & Cabinetry Fabrication and teacher approval.

This course allows students interested in a building tade a closer look at the actual job. Students will get "hans-on"experience with the CHS carpentry projects. Students will earn the following credits through WSUTech. OSHA 10-1 credit, Introductory Craft Skills-3 credits, Construction Basics-3 credits.. Areas covered include: Safety, measurement, plan reading, construction tools, basic estimating and procurement, basic construction materials and techniques.

• Course Fees: Project fees will be calculated on an individual project basis.
