Production Welding Processes I

In this class, students will identify safe practices, safety and health issues, and procedures in the welding process. They will describe and identify basic metals and metallurgy. Students will then be introduced to the techniques of SMAW (Shielded Metal Arc Welding), GMAW (Gas Metal Arc Welding), GTAW (Gas Tungsten Arc Welding), and OxyFuel welding.
