Production Methods I is a comprehensive, technical level course designed to instruct students in the knowledge and skills common to manufacturing occupations using a variety of materials (wood, plastic, metal, composites). This course's primary attention is given to the following topics: safety, hand tool identification, related vocabulary, and manufacturing project activities such as woodworking, metalwork, plastics, ceramics, polymers. Students will also be introduced to CNC Routing, Laser Engraving, and CNC Plasma cutting, this will provide the student with the essential background related to the manufacturing production process.
