This is a semester class offered to students desiring to further their study in the visual and design area of graphic presentation and communications. Computer-aided mechanical design is emphasized and studied. The software, AutoCAD, provides the instructional support and presentation platform for CAD I. Students will design, create, and draw various mechanical applications utilized and presented in technology industries today. This area of study will prepare students for career opportunities in the specialized area of drafting and design engineering.
