This course is designed to help students develop basic skills for everyday living and work. They will gain knowledge, attitudes, and behaviors necessary to be successful in families, careers, and communities. This course will include goal setting, decision-making, personal growth, money management, and communication skills. Students will explore relationships and leadership roles. Throughout this course, students will work in a group setting and experience hands-on activities. It is a practical course for both males and females and is a prerequisite for the upper-level Human Services/Family and Consumer Science courses. This course will be offered first semester.
