Interior Design

This course will teach students the skills necessary to design interior spaces that apply design elements and principles in spaces for residential and special needs (e.g. single-family homes, multi-family structures, homes for special needs, child care centers, retirement homes, etc.). Topics will include meeting clients' needs, legislated codes, historic considerations, current and future trends, and public policy. Projects include drawing and decorating a house.
