French III

French III students will do more activities in the target language. The teacher will speak primarily in French and students will be expected to do the same. Students will receive homework assignments regularly and use in-class activities to practice the French language. Students will be encouraged to use French outside the classroom by completing research tasks and reading short stories. There will be more cultural activities, short stories discussed in French, and productions of skits and videos in French. Speaking and building complex phrases will be the focus. Written and spoken forms of evaluation will be used in this course. By the end of French III, students will have had all the necessary basics of the French language.
