Career Connections is the application level course that enables the student to apply technical skills in a workplace experience, outside or within the school environment. Emphasis will be placed on the continued development and finalization of the student's portfolio which includes resume writing, exploration of careers, and job interview skills. Focus is on the world of work, job-seeking skills, and the retention of jobs needed to advance within the workplace. Students will apply decision-making, problem-solving, and management skills to aid them in balancing work, school, and personal life.
