This is an advanced science class that examines the basic physics concepts which form a foundation for most careers in engineering, technology, and science. Advanced laboratory skills and problem-solving are stressed. Students will engage in systematic investigations that will help them understand the universe around them. Students will carry out investigations and collect data with an emphasis being placed upon the study of motion, forces, vectors, energy, momentum, thermodynamics, optics, and simple machines.
