This course is for college-bound students to study the basic principles of chemistry. Laboratory experiments and problem-solving are stressed. This course emphasizes the study of atomic structure, quantum mechanics, nomenclature, chemical formulas, chemical equations, solutions, the periodic table, and the chemical and physical properties of some elements and compounds.
