This course is designed to make the student aware of our constantly changing legal system. Every person, regardless of occupation, is constantly affected by our laws; therefore, everyone needs a better understanding of legal rights and responsibilities. We will emphasize the sections concerning the individual rather than business. Topics discussed will be types of laws, ethics, criminal law, civil law, contract laws, juvenile laws, and laws pertaining to everyday life.
