British & World Literature

The focus of this semester English elective for seniors will be on both literature and writing. Students will study classical and British literature with an emphasis on chronological developments, period influences, author analysis, and critical interpretations. Expository composition skills will be polished and basic language skills will be reviewed.

Several smaller research projects are integrated within the literary and historical time periods. This course is an excellent college preparatory class.
