Advanced Two-Dimensional Art

This course is designed for students who have completed Introduction to Drawing and Principles of Illustration. Throughout the semester, students will choose a program of study and complete 3-4 projects in a given media for a portfolio assessment. Students will write formal critiques of famous artwork, as well as self-critiques of their own work. Students will also research several artists. Students will be expected to show in monthly and semester shows as a part of their criteria in the class. As there are several programs of study, this class can be taken several times.
