This course will be a survey study of 20th-century science fiction and the authors who created this genre. This study will focus on novels, short stories, graphic novels, and screenplays. Students will explore the world of 20th-century science fiction by reading and discussing literature, researching authors, and connecting 20th-century predictions to the 21st century. Students will be assessed through quizzes, participation, unit essays, group presentations, and a short research paper.
