Circle Middle School will change our mode of learning from in-person to remote for all students starting Monday, November 23rd through Friday, December 4th, 2020. At this time the plan to return to in-person will be on Monday, December 7th, 2020.
Your student is expected to access and already uses the following resources:
Google Classrooms
CMS Navigating Change (CMS site)
These resources will provide the necessary support to continue education at home.
Requirements of students during this time will include:
Logging on to live video teaching sessions during class time. Attendance will be taken each hour.
Participation by the student in learning activities as if attending school in-person. Grades will count towards student progress with learning.
Follow A/B day schedule for M, T, Th and F. Class schedule is as follows for all grade levels:
8:10-9:21 Block 1 (71)
9:24-10:34 Block 2 (70)
10:37-12:15 Block 3 (70 + 28 lunch)
1st lunch 10:53-11:21
2nd lunch 11:26-11:54
12:18-1:28 Block 4 (70)
1:31-2:41 Block 5 (70)
2:44-3:12 Advisory (28)
Attend Advisement at the end of each day.
Wednesday Schedule will consist of Personalized learning time and help sessions per teacher communication with students. This communication will occur in their Google Classrooms / Email.
All Temporary Remote students will follow their regular daily in-person schedule.

Each student will bring home a Remote Learning Assurances document. Please sign and return.
If your student is quarantined past December 7th they are to stay home and remain as temporary remote until their quarantine is over.
Should your student become ill over this remote period, please call 778-1470 to excuse them from attending as you would on a normal school day.
Activities and Athletics:
We are continuing to have practices- students will be placed into cohort groups and practice times assigned. Transportation will be communicated by Friday, 11/20.
Games will be held and at this time spectators will be allowed following ticket procedures.
Music Concert will be held 11/24 with more information shared with students and parents by 11/20.
