CMS Update for Sept. 29th - Oct. 5th

Weekly Update for September 29th - October 5th

As you are aware each of our students were issued a Chromebook. These are temporary devices as the new Chromebook have not arrived. This message was sent to each students today from our tech department: "We want to encourage you to take extra care with your Chromebook. As you know the district is in short supply of Chromebooks. We are asking that you set them places so that they don't get dropped or knocked off. Please don't set them where they can be stepped on or sat on. Take extra care when putting them in your backpacks so that nothing heavy gets put on top of them. Because of the high demand for Chromebooks we do not yet have a delivery date on the new ones that were ordered in June.
We have had a lot of keyboard and headphone jack issues that are not your fault. Those are because the Chromebooks have been in use for a while.
We are working on getting those repaired as quickly as possible. Also please remember to bring your Chromebooks FULLY CHARGED (charge it every night) to school because we do not have Chromebooks to loan out".
Thank you for assisting us with making sure your student is aware of these details.

Last week's post had information regarding Parent/Student/Teacher conferences. Look for a parent survey regarding conferences to be sent out this week. We are requesting all parents complete the survey so we can prepare ahead of time.

October 6th is our Site Council meeting. Mark your calendars for 7:00pm. If you have an item for our agenda please email Adam Tripp: adam.t.tripp@gmail.com by this Wednesday 9/30. We will meet in the auditorium to allow lots of space between attendees. Please wear a mask into the building, and temperatures will be taken at the door. Thank you ahead of time for coming.
