Temperature Checks:

Temperature checks will be administered on everyone entering the building each day, staff and students. Anyone with a temperature of 100.4 or higher will be isolated and sent home. Students riding the bus will be screened prior to boarding the bus.

Microwaves at Lunch:

We realize that many students utilize the microwaves at lunch.  For the time being we are allowing this practice to continue.  We are encouraging students to bring items that do not need to be warmed up as time is of the essence at lunch.

Procedures are as follows:

  • One student at at time allowing for 6 ft. social distancing

  • When use is completed, surfaces will be wiped down

  • Next person will use

Quarantine procedures:

If there are any positive COVID cases the school will work in conjunction with our district nurses as well as the Butler County Health Department to determine who will need to be quarantined.

  •  We will have a designated place for any student, separate from the nurse’s office, who

registers a temperature above the 100.4 guidelines. Should any student exhibit signs or

symptoms of COVID 19, at any time during the day, they will go to the designated

location to wait to be evaluated or picked up from school.

  •  Should the decision be made that the child must go home, the child will be walked out

of the building to their parent or guardian once they arrive. Ensuring that all students,

staff, and families are healthy and safe is our highest priority in the Circle School District.

  • Any child/person wanting to enter the building must ensure they are not exhibiting any symptoms of COVID-19.

Again, Please join us in the parent virtual forum tomorrow night.  I am looking forward to visiting with those that attend.  While there are quite a few changes to our 2020-2021 School Year there are still a lot of things that are the same…

  • We are beyond excited to see our students!

  • An outstanding staff who will go above and beyond to help your student succeed.

  • Curricular standards that are set high

  • Staff who will care for and love your child each and every day.

Blessings, health and safety to our CMS T-Birds!
