Great things are happening and here is what you need to know for this week ☺️
It's TEACHER APPRECIATION WEEK!!! Check out the flyer posted on face book and on CMS CLP site for what your student can participate with. Encourage them to send as many notes, shout outs and funny dress up pictures for the throwback day as possible.
AND- for the first time EVER, we want to tell you as parents that we APPRECIATE YOU for bridging the gap during this time of education. HAPPY TEACHER APPRECIATION WEEK!!
Mark your calendars for THIS WEDNESDAY at 7:00 PM. Circle district is hosting a virtual parent session. See attached picture for the information. Everyone is welcome to join.
Enrollment information: All current 7th grade parents have received an email from CMS enrollment with an attached form and course descriptions for enrolling your student in next years classes. If you haven't already worked with your student to pick the elective classes, please do so. We are working on creating the schedule for next year. A reminder email will be sent to the students accounts to complete this process by Wednesday of this week- May 6th.
8th grade Parents: Your enrollment should be complete for CHS. If not, reach out to mmarshall@usd375.org for completion. End of year information: Several questions have been asked about how we are going to close out 8th grade. Here is a bit of information for you: *Hand prints- We are planning on hosting an evening event for your students to come and hand print the wall when school resumes in August. We know this is one of the activities that students look forward to and we do not want them to miss out on this. Please watch for information come August. *Class shirts: We have sent the winning design to the printer and are expecting them to arrive any day. We will be in touch with you about picking these up at CMS. *Promotion: The teachers are working on creating a promotion video for the students. More information will come from the 8th grade team regarding how this is going to work.
As we look towards the end of a school year- please know that we are still here to support your students through these remaining days. We know this has not been an easy task for anyone. Together we have overcome this obstacle. Thank you again for taking on a totally unexpected role throughout this last 8 weeks.
