Weekly Update for February 26th - March 3rd. Have you noticed that the sun is out longer? It is no longer dark at 5:00 ☺️😎. Spring is coming!
Calling Volunteers!!! On March 6th we are having our second CMS Social. Beginning at 3:30 - 5:30. Last fall we had about 200 students stay and enjoy a variety of activities. If you can come and volunteer your time we would greatly appreciate it. The options that are currently scheduled: dance, bingo, open gym, board and electronic games, crafts. Please email Mrs. Cross to let her know we can count on you. scross@usd375.org.
8th grade parents: Your students will be involved in setting up a display for their business on March 4th. You are invited to come and see the Business Expo from 8:15 - 9:15 am on March 4th. We will go live on that day trying to get as many projects as we can on video. This is a fun and rewarding event for our 8th grade students as it brings together several months of planning, preparation and a true sense of business. Please come and enjoy with us.
Student Led Conferences Coming soon!! Your students advisement teacher will be contacting parents for scheduling a set time on March 11th or 12th. Spring Conference are Student Led which involves each student leading the conference. Please plan on bringing your student with you and take this into consideration when scheduling. Advisement teachers may contact you through email, personal phone call or using signup genius. Following the student led conferences, if you are needing to visit with a specific teacher, please come to the front office and we will communicate with the teacher to have them contact you. If you do not have a set time by March 9th or if you have questions please contact us at cmsfrontdesk@usd375.org. We are looking forward to hearing what education means from the view of the students.
Busy week ahead: Here are the activities- .
*Wednesday, Feb. 26th: 8th grade visit to CHS to see the sites and learn about life in high school. 8:30 - 2:00.
*Thursday, Feb 27th: Boys BB in Haysville Middle School 7A/8B 5:00, 7B/8A 6:15.
*Friday, Feb 28th: Practices as scheduled.
*Saturday, Feb 29th: Boys BBall semi-finals at El Dorado Middle School- Times for games will be shared through coaches. Good Luck Circle!
*Monday, March 2nd: No School- Inservice day. Boys Final BBall games at El Dorado Middle School. Times for the games will be shared on Saturday pending making the finals.
*Tuesday, March 3rd: Math Relays for Patriot League in El Dorado.
