Weekly Update for the next two weeks. 11/19 - 12/2

Weekly Update! November 19th - December 2nd. This is going to be for two weeks as we have Thanksgiving Break coming up.

Thank you for all the Dads, Grandparents, Uncles, Brothers, Neighbors and Sponsors that attended our Donuts with Dad. We had a full house plus some. We appreciate everyone that came and spent time with the students. Always a great way to start the day.

If you missed it- for National Kindness Day we encouraged students to "SEE" the positive in each other by filling each others plates with encouragement, kind words and recognition of each other. In our lessons through Rachel's Challenge the focus is on looking for the positive and starting a chain reaction. This goes hand in hand with us encouraging each other and seeing the story each person brings with them. We are all unique and diverse, so instead of making this a negative, turn the story into a positive.

Speaking about starting a chain reaction: On November 26th we will have 18 different service projects that students will participate in. These projects run the gamut from in school projects to items that will be sent to outside agencies. Teachers are collecting items and we have asked for any assistance with supplies that can be donated. If you can still help out with items, please send them to the front office and we will disperse to the teacher that needs the items for their project. If you would like to come and help that afternoon, please email cmsfrontdesk@usd375.org or call 778-1470 and we will send you the times and locations. Thank you if you have already made a donation.
