3/1/2010	McConnell Officers' Spouses'	Must be a military dependent child of active duty, full-time reserve, full-time guard, retired, or deceased military member from any branch of service, have a Military ID Card, live within a 75-mile radius of McConnell AFB; $1,500.
3/1/2010	Am Legion Eagle Scout Scholarship	Eagle Scout of the Year competions sponsored by the American Legion--state through national levels; $500 - $10,000.
3/5/2010	SAMMY-Milk Processors	Based on academic performance (35%), athletic excellence (35%), leadership (15%), community service (10%) and milk experience (5%);$7,500. Must apply online at www.bodybymilk.com. You could be in a milk mustache ad!!

3/12/2010	KACRAO Scholarship	3.25 GPA, 22 ACT, provide evidence of leadership experience. $500. Can apply to colleges and universities and some vocational schools.
3/12/2010	Kansas NTO Scholarship	For students enrolling in a career or technical program which leads to high-wage, high-skill gender non-traditional occupational employment such as females studying automotives or building technology and males studying nursing or cosmetology; $1,000. state-federal-grants@ksbor.org (must submit electronically).
3/13/2010	Wichita Alumnae Panhellenic	Girls only. Interested in joining a college sorority; outstanding in scholarship, leadership, service, activities/interests. $750

3/15/2010	Kohl's Kids Who Care	Must have gone "above and beyond" with a community service project. $50 local Kohl's gift cards to $1,000 - $10,000 scholarship money for regional and national winners. www.kohlskids.com between February 1st and March 15th.

4/15/2010	Kansas Masonic Foundation	Student loans available at 4% interest. No Masonic affiliation is needed to apply for the loan.
4/15/2010	Chris Trotter Memorial	Must provide information about GPA, ACT scores, classes taken at CHS, and write a short essay. $400 - $500.
4/15/2010	CHS Basketball Booster Club	Must have played basketball for two seasons one of which during junior or senior year at CHS. Not necessary to play ball in college. $500 to one girl and $500 to one boy.
4/15/2010	Brooke Ward Memorial	For CHS football players. Based on competitive attitude, team leadership, respect for coaches and teammates, enthusiasm for the game. Must have at least a 2.0 GPA, essay required. $500
4/15/2010	Dan Persons Memorial	Must have 3.4 GPA, involved in two of these activities: BEST, 4-H, Skills USA, athletics, band/music, art/design. $1,500.
4/15/2010	Joan Linot Korth Memorial	Must be a senior in good standing. Essay required. $500 - $1,000. Sometimes two are given.
4/15/2010	Logan Tessler Memorial	For band members only. $200 - $500.
4/15/2010	Matt Whittredge Memorial	Judged on activities and achievements, along with an essay on involvement, college plans, career goals, and character traits. $500.
4/15/2010	Thor Scholarship (CHS)	3.0 - 3.75 GPA, judged on reliability, good attendance, hard work, balance of school, work, and play. $500; usually more than one is given.
4/15/2010	OU Club of Wichita	Must attend the University of Oklahoma; based on academic performance, extracurricular activities, goals, plans. $2,000. www.ouclubof wichita.org
4/19/2010	Kansas Society of CPA's	Must have good ACT score, be involved in leadership activities, and plan to major in accounting; $500 - $1,300.
5/1/2010	State of Kansas Scholarships	Available for ethnic minorities, nursing students, teaching in specific areas of need, Kansas Scholars; based on financial need. www.kansasregents.org (click on Scholarships and Grants)
5/31/2010	WSU-Sigma Phi Epsilon	Guys only attending WSU. Balanced Man - all-around excellence, balance in school & life, leadership in and out of the classroom. $1,000.
7/15/2010	American Legion Baseball	Several Legion scholarships for those who have participated in Legion baseball or school athletics; $250 - $1,000.
	Barton Comm. College	Students interested in athletic training/sports medicine can serve as a student athletic trainer and earn books and tuition.
	Coffeyville Comm. College	Students interested in athletic training/sports medicine can serve as a student athletic trainer and earn books, tuition, room & board.
	Coffeyville Comm. College	Students interested in participating in a CCC activity group will pay only $1,500/semester for room, board, tuition, and books (on loan).
	Allen Community College	Students interested in participating in theatre, vocal/instrumental music, or art can win books (on loan) & tuition scholarships.
